Ochre Digital Improves Sustainability
Ochre Digital is excited to announce they have upgraded one of their large format printers to a more sustainable water-based technology in an effort to stay up to date and be more environmentally friendly. The addition of the HP Latex technology is unique as it combines versatility, high image quality, high productivity and a sustainable approach that is better for our clients, our business and the environment.
“We are aware of our impact on the environment and understand a number of our clients prefer a more eco friendly option, so we have invested in new technology that provides a superb quality product with a more sustainable approach”, said Andrew Baohm, Director of Ochre Digital. “Another positive is the elimination of the ‘solvent’ smell associated with other printers”.
The use of water-based inks with this technology eliminates exposure to previously hazardous inks that require careful handling, storage, transportation requirements and ventilation. Odorless prints produced from the new printer are now more suitable for smaller, closed in spaces or sensitive environments such as museums. The HP Latex inks are also scratch resistant in comparison to solvent inks and are suitable for unlaminated short-term signage or are highly durable for outdoor signage.
Providing superb colour consistency and high image quality, the printer is suitable for a range of media types and applications including papers, fabrics, self adhesive vinyls, canvas, banners (single and double sided), displays, exhibitions, event graphics, exterior signage, posters, wall coverings, light boxes, POS, textiles and vehicle graphics.
Ochre Digital looks forward to producing your next print or signage project with this progressive new technology. For more information or to request a quote, please contact us on 08 8363 6666 or email.
