Black Bull Hotel | Adelaide’s First Permanent Hotel

The newly opened Black Bull Hotel on Hindley Street has embraced the history of the area and are proud to be the site of Adelaide’s first permanent hotel established in 1838.

Interpretive panels reveal a bit of history while old photographs displayed throughout the bar, restaurant and gaming areas allow the viewer to step back in time.

The upstairs area is home to the Black Bull nightclub and guests are met with a large three dimensional black bull above the bar. Illuminated signage along the front of the bar creates a great atmosphere at night time.
