About Julie

Julie is the Marketing and Communications coordinator at Ochre Digital responsible for traditional marketing, digital marketing, communications, and sponsorships.

Julie uses her talents as a professional photographer to photograph signage projects for inclusion in marketing materials such as the popular bi-monthly SIGNAGE magazine. She is in charge of designing and publishing the magazine that showcases recent projects completed by both Ochre Digital and Trio sign solutions.

In addition to the graphic design necessary for marketing materials, Julie also creates artwork for clients who need printing or signage but don’t have their own artwork or designers.

Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UniSA before moving to the US where she built her photography business, Captured in Time Photography. Whilst continuing as a photographer, she also explored some different career paths providing her with great experience across a variety of complementary fields. She worked as a reporter and photographer for a local newspaper in Upstate New York, a community relations coordinator for the City of Rome where she organised community events, assisted not for profit organisations with their marketing and worked closely with the Mayor. Before returning to Australia, Julie worked as a copywriter for Turning Stone Resort and Casino.

Since returning to Adelaide, Julie has held marketing and communications positions in the professional services sector, the small business sector and continues to build Captured in Time Photography.

Julie enjoys travelling and spending time with her young family. Her boys like to help in the kitchen and are normally willing models for photos.
